Fiona Morris grew up in Strathspey and spent her formative years walking the Cairngorms and exploring the natural surroundings of the local area and the Moray Firth. She took up painting after returning to her childhood home and has since become know for her sketches and studies of the areas.

Fiona uses mixed media, including watercolour and acrylic. Her current collection of paintings derives from sketches made on a foray into Coire an t’Sneachda in the Cairngorms. In a simple graphic style, she has captured the scale and grandeur of the location.
