Campbell Bryson studied at the Glasgow School of Art and has spent most of his life working and teaching in the Highlands. He was Head of Art and Design at Grantown Grammar School for 18 years.

Based in a studio in the garden of his home in Kincraig, his studies of birch woods are acclaimed for for their depiction of light and shade. His work can also be seen in large format at the new Badenoch and Strathspey Community Hospital in Aviemore
