Sgraffito Vase

Design and handmake your own unique vase in this one-day class with Angus 

This is a great introduction to two ceramic techniques - slab building and sgraffito. 

What you will learn

Angus will guide you through the process to make slabs of clay and then shape them into a large vase. 

You will also be shown the basics of sgraffito - a striking technique that involves scratching a surface to reveal contrasting layers beneath. You'll get to practise on a small plant pot before carving a design on your handmade vase.

No experience is necessary. 

This course will run on Saturday January 25, 10am-2pm.
